Rescue Me ID: 15-09-17-00107Snowfeet (male)

White Shepherd Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Snowfeet is a VERY happy dog. So Happy, that is what his foster mom calls him! He can be very energetic and sometimes just enjoys a run back and forth in the house or outside to burn off some of his energy. He enjoys playing fetch and tug with both humans and other dogs. His play can sometimes sound aggressive, but that just seems to be his way as he is not at all. He responds very well to correction and is eager to learn which is good as he still needs to get some basic obedience down. He is a very smart dog and would benefit from a formal training class. With his speed and jumping ability, he might even exceed in some sort of agility ... (Read More)training and/or competition. Snowfeet is house trained and crate trained, although he needn't be as he has proven trustworthy in the house. He is a big cuddler and likes to curl up next to someone on the couch, or in bed. He does well with other dogs once he gets past the initial excitement of meeting them. His compatibility with cats is unknown. Snowfeet would do best in a home with a physically fenced in yard. At 2 years old and 45lbs, Snowfeet is the perfect sized family dog! Please email for an application today for this lovely boy! (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a White Shepherd in Michigan
White Shepherd Dogs can make good pets in Michigan if they match your IifestyIe. A White Shepherd is a German Shepherd bred for its white coat. White Shepherds are more timid and sensitive than German Shepherds and should be trained gently. White Shepherds are very protective, but not hostile; they make great guard dogs and wonderful companions. White Shepherds should be well socialized early in life. White Shepherds that are properly trained and socialized are good with children and other pets. This breed can adapt to apartment life with sufficient exercise.
